While you may be knee-deep into your second mortgage, or looking to sell your home, or maybe you’re in the market to buy, here’s a look at the most expensive celebrity homes that are up for grabs. Looking for a beach side home that was once owned by Nicholas Cage, or are you more of a country boy looking to own a ranch on 6,000 acres of land owned by Val Kilmer? Take a look at what real estate is available in the most affluent enclaves, for the right price.

• Topping the list is a $150 million property called the Spelling Manor, home to the late Aaron Spelling and his wacky wife, Candy. Located at 594 South Mapleton Dr. in Los Angeles, this is one of the world’s most expensive properties for sale and boasts 56,500 sq. ft. on 4.7 acres of beautifully manicured FLAT land in Holmby Hills. Although the listing is labeled as a “Single-Family Home” on Trulia, the home offers 14 bedrooms – and not to mention Candy’s infamous Gift Wrapping Room. The Grand Entry welcomes guests with a double grand staircase and exquisite 30 foot ceiling. Other accoutrements of the “home” include a projection room, antique fireplaces from France, two-lane bowling alley, gourmet kitchen, flower cutting hall, and more.

• If you want to follow the footsteps of Nicholas Cage, move into his former home in Newport Beach for a cool $28.5 million. Located at 2692 Bayshore Dr., the 10,000 sq. ft. waterfront home is on .7 acres and features 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. Apart from the standard offerings, the property also features a detached guesthouse, oversized view terraces overlooking the Pacific, tropical gardens, private dock facilities for a yacht up to 156 ft., and more. The price of the home was reduced from $31.75 million.

• Ever wondered what it would feel like to sleep in Michael Jackson’s bedroom… err, home? His Los Angeles home is up for grabs for $23.5 million. Located at 100 North Carolwood Dr., the seven-bedroom and 13-bathroom home sits on a 1.26-acre lot with more than 17,000 sq. ft. of living space. The French Chateau estate was designed by Richard Landry in the Holmby Hills and features a grand theatre, wine cellar and tasting room, spacious spa, guesthouse, and more.

• More of a country boy? Val Kilmer’s ranch is up for sale in New Mexico for $18.5 million. Simply called the Kilmer Ranch, the seven-bed, 11-bath home sits on 5,328 acres with 11,573 sq. ft. of living space. The home features a log cabin and trout fishing river.

These homes aren’t in Irvine Orange County, but it’s always fun to read about the expensive celebrity homes…..enjoy!
