Laguna Beach cupcake shop on Food Network Tuesday cupcakes – Irvine Real Estate – Irvine Homes for Sale

Laguna Beach’s new cupcake shop will get some national attention Tuesday night.

Casey’s Cupcakes, which opened last week, will be featured on Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars,” which airs 9 p.m. Tuesday. The show pits four cupcake bakers against each other every week to compete for $10,000 and the chance to feature their cupcakes at a special event – in this case, the 50th anniversary of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Reinhardt said she enjoyed baking from an early age. Her interest combined with her family’s background in the food and restaurant industries to create the shop.

Tuesday’s episode will feature Casey Reinhardt, who co-owns Casey’s Cupcakes with parents Kelly and Duane Roberts. The Roberts, who are Laguna Beach residents, also own the Mission Inn in Riverside, which is home to the first Casey’s Cupcakes location. Reinhardt said she was excited to open the second location in her family’s hometown. In 2005, she also had a role on MTV’s “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.”
