Sesame Street Presents: The Body: Grab the kids and run, jump and play your way through an interactive exhibition all about the human body. Presented by Sesame Street  Through April from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Discovery Science Center, 2500 N. Main St., Santa Ana. Price:Adults $12.95, children $9.95. More info.

Drop-in Family Art Inventions: Create innovative and unique cultural art projects. Recommended for ages 5 and up: parents and grandparents! Saturday, Feb. 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bowers Kidseum, 1802 N. Main St., Santa Ana. Price:Free to museum members or with paid admission. More info.

Kids Climb Time: Kids age 7-17 are invited to come have fun with friends and family during Kids Climb Time at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) at Cal State Fullerton, 800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton on Friday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Price:$5. More info.

Stories Under the Stars: Join naturalist, Leslie Helliwell on the darkest night of the month under the New Moon to learn to identify some of the major constellations and enjoy the tales that the Greek and Native American storytellers told. Friday, Feb. 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Environmental Nature Center, 1601 E. 16th St., Newport Beach. More info.

Charity Boutique and Dog Adoption: I.C.A.R.E. dog rescue will host a charity boutique and dog adoption on Sunday, Feb. 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come and adopt your Super Bowl pet at Green Valley Clubhouse, 17250 Los Jardines, Fountain Valley. There will be food, shopping, raffle prizes, face painting, and balloon creations. More info.

Chinese New Year Celebration: Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with performances, exhibitions, crafts, story times, and red bag favors on Sunday, Feb. 6 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tustin Library, 345 E. Main St., Tustin. More info.

Harmony – The Music of Life: A fast paced showcase of American Musical theater. Bringham Young University Ambassadors will present this 90 minute performance which includes music from Wicked, Carousel, Prince of Egypt, Michael Buble, Benny Goodman and others. Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Irvine Barclay Theater, 4242 Campus Dr., Irvine. Price: $15. More info.

UVSA Tet Festival: Tet, the Lunar New Year marks the beginning of Spring and is the most observed holiday within the Vietnamese community. The festival will includes a large food court, carnival rides, games and other fun activities for the whole family. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 5 & 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Garden Grove Park, 9301 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove. Price: $5 adults, $4 children. More info.

Chinese New Year Celebration & Open House: Come celebrate Chinese New Year. The event will include a demo of mook jong, blindfolded sparring, and the one-inch punch. Marine Mammal Cruises: Weekend Marine Mammal cruises provide participants with a ship-board view of gray whales, dolphins, sunfish, sea lions, and other creatures of the sea. Marine biologists lead the cruises onboard the Sea Explorer. Sundays in Feb. and March from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Dr., Dana Point. More info.

Super Kids Sunday 5K and Fun Run: Sponsored by the IC Irvine Pediatrics Residents and Miller Children’s Hospital to raise awareness on childhood obesity, and promote a day of fitness and wellness for people of all ages. Sunday, Feb. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool, 4000 E. Olympic Plaza, Long Beach. Price: $25. More info.
