There are so many great reasons to buy a new home in Irvine, Orange County.  Newer area, extremely safe, wonderful city to raise a family, centrally located to Los Angeles, San Diego, and the beautiful beaches, and so on!  Among all of these great features that Irvine has to offer, one of the most important is the blue ribbon schools that Irvine residents have the opportunity to send their kids to!  It is no secret and I have to say that I personally help many buyers looking to buy in Irvine for this exact reason.  To be more specific, I would have to say that at least 50% of my clients are looking to purchase in Irvine for the schools and the level of education that they offer.IUSD

Irvine, Orange county has many different great communities and each community offers a different school zone.  We can’t always count on the MLS to provide accurate information so why not go straight to the source…..especially when it takes less than 5 minutes to determine which Elementary, Middle, and high school is assigned to your specific home.

The main Irvine Unified School District site, is the portal for so much great information and I always recommend that parents planning to send their children to these schools get familiar with the website!

Let’s take it one step at a time and focus on first, determining which schools are assigned to your home.  Go to the MAIN SITE and on the left side you will see a Schools option.  Hover over this field and sub categories will pop up.  You want to click on Assigned neighborhood schools.  Once this page opens, simply type in your home number, then select your street from the long drop down list.  Then click Lookup and thats it!  No more guessing….

It is always amazing how much easier a home sale will go when there are good schools involved. In today’s world, parents will live farther away from work just to put their kids in the best school districts. Cant really say that I blame them.
